CONWAY — Tigers, Bears and Eagles will take center stage for the first time ever at Gary Millen Stadium on the campus of Kennett High School on Friday night for the inaugural Kennett Band Day. The event, the brainchild of Dr. Therese Davison, music director at KHS, will bring together nearly 50 seventh- and eighth-grade music students from the K.A. Brett School in Tamworth, Josiah Bartlett Elementary School in Bartlett and the Kennett Middle School in Conway Village for a halftime extravaganza.

“I think it’s going to be awesome,” Davison said by phone on Thursday. “The weather looks great, the enthusiasm will be great and the performance is going to be great.”
