CONCORD — Gov. Chris Sununu Tuesday vetoed a bill that Tamworth-based Pinetree Power said it needs to stay in business. State Sen. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) sponsored the bill, and Tamworth selectmen supported it.

Pinetree Power burns biomass (wood waste) to produce electricity. There are six biomass plants in the state. Pinetree Power is located off of Route 41.
