CONWAY — Welcome to the mystical time of the year, as poet John Keats so aptly put it, “of mists and mellow fruitfulness,” a time when the morning fog and the fleeting foliage give way to the stark branches of autumn against the fall sky.

It’s a time when everyone, young and old alike, gets into the haunting spirit, as Halloween fast approaches Oct. 31 and we all pay a little more attention to scary jack o’ lanterns, black cats crossing our paths, and spooky “Boo Radley“ trees that seem to have eyes and wizened faces staring back at you from the dark, ominous woods.
