SANDWICH — The last fair of the season in New Hampshire, the colorful Sandwich Fair, held Columbus Day Weekend, saw paid attendance of 30,312, surpassing the fair’s goal of 30,000.
“We always shoot for 30,000, so I am very happy,” said fair president Bryan Peaslee, who said the fair enjoyed windy but spectacular weather and great crowds Saturday. Attendance dropped off Sunday after rain showers moved in which continued into early Monday, also impacting attendance for the final day.
