RANDOLPH — A Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration report indicates that Volodymyr Zhukovskyy of West Springfield, Mass., was on drugs and reached for a drink just before he crashed into a group of motorcyclists, killing seven of them in June, according to a story in The Boston Globe.

Zhukovskyy has been charged with seven counts of negligent homicide and a jury trial is scheduled later this fall in Coos County Superior Court.
