CONWAY — Conway police are seeking the whereabouts of 20-year-old Nathan Cox.

According to a press release issued Monday by police, Cox has open warrants for his arrest and is wanted for questioning by the Conway Police Department regarding several vehicles that have been taken from residences in the area over the past two weeks.

Police say Cox is currently homeless but has been frequenting the Conway, Tamworth and Fryeburg areas where it is believed that he is responsible for the theft of a number of unsecured motor vehicles where the keys have been left inside the vehicle.

If anyone has any information regarding his location, they are urged to call contact the Conway Police Department at (603) 356-5715.

According to Conway Police Lt. Chris Mattei: "Cox does not appear to pose an immediate safety threat to anyone in the community at this time but if he is observed in the area we ask that you do not approach him and call the police immediately.

"We would also like to remind people to keep their vehicles locked even when parked at their residence," Mattei said.
