CONWAY — Selectmen are set to decide whether Phase 2 of the Conway Rec Path moves forward at their Dec. 16 meeting, according to a timeline presented by the town planner on Tuesday.
The board’s decision will come after a series of public hearings in November and December. Phase 2 of the rec path would start at the northern end of Phase 1 — the Cranmore trailhead — then extend to Old Bartlett Road and along the northern edge of Whitaker Woods. From there, it is planned to follow the Mountain Division railroad tracks used by Conway Scenic Railroad up to Intervale Cross Road.
