CONWAY — Last Friday, nearly 50 community members gathered at dusk at Schouler Park in North Conway Village for Starting Point’s annual Vigil for Remembrance, a solemn event honoring those impacted by domestic violence. The vigil began at 6 p.m. with an inspiring serenade by the Silver Lake Singers, setting the tone for an evening of reflection, solidarity and hope.
Organizer Raetha Stoddard, Starting Point’s Outreach and Engagement Specialist, welcomed attendees with heartfelt words: “The vigil is an evening of remembrance — for those we have lost to domestic violence, for those whose lives have been shattered by it, and for those who survived and light the way for others to do the same.”
