TAMWORTH — The president of Club Motorsports Inc. appeared before the Tamworth Board of Selectmen last week to update them on the efforts his organization is making to control the sound of sports cars speeding around the track.

CMI President Jim Hoenscheid also expressed the wish to avoid butting heads with the town over its noise ordinance.
