HOOKSETT — On Thursday at about 1 p.m., troopers from the New Hampshire State Police-Troop B Barracks responded to a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 93 southbound, south of the Hooksett Tolls.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2019 Honda Accord, driven by Ashwayne Rose, age 19, of Manchester was traveling southbound on Interstate 93 when he attempted to cross several lanes of heavy traffic in a posted 65 mph zone (45 mph minimum). This movement was reported to be at less than 5 mph and in a perpendicular manner to oncoming traffic.
