CONWAY — Selectmen unanimously nixed a proposal to raise West Side Road after hearing that abutters and residents all oppose the idea.
In December, the board heard from Christopher Fournier of HEB Engineers about a plan for raising about 1,500 feet of West Side Road north of the Washington Street Bridge to prevent washouts. He reiterated the proposal at Tuesday’s meeting.
