I grew up surrounded by brothers and male cousins, so when my kids were born, and both were girls, my world required some adjustment. I soon discovered there wasn’t much adjustment necessary, and as my daughters grew and became successful, adventurous young ladies, it proved what I always tried to instill in them. Since March is Women’s History Month, I thought it appropriate to give a shout out to all the women who made contributions to the automotive and mechanical landscape.

Starting very locally with my wife, Michelle, who was and continues to be instrumental in the success of our own automotive business as well as her sewing shop. My daughter, Rachel, who explored the country in a van that she built and my daughter, Erin, former yacht crew member and now commercial pilot with a keen understanding of all things nautical and aviation related.
