OSSIPEE — Carroll County commissioners Monday reacted to the sudden departure of Chief Financial Officer Bonnie Batchelder last week.

At their Jan. 27 meeting, commissioners' chair Chuck McGee (R-Moultonborough) and Commissiober Harold Parker (R-Wolfeboro) voted 2-0 to have staff develop a job description for a full-time county CFO to be written with the expected help from the contracted CFO, Bonnie Batchelder. At the end of 30 days, the job would be advertised.
