MADISON — Fear not, there is no mutiny in the town’s selectmen’s office. Seeing three open selectmen’s seats in Madison had some wondering what was going on, but two of the three are newly created seats after voters last March agreed to expand the board from three to five members.

Madison Town Clerk Mike Brooks said Thursday that the new selectmen terms are staggered so there won’t be a year (other than this one) where three positions are open.
