CONWAY — The American Cancer Society New Hampshire chapter's 24th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer North Conway walk Sunday drew 275 participants and raised $65,000 for breast cancer research.

Included in the effort were 36 breast cancer survivors, who were feted in a tent provided by local sponsors, said American Cancer Society New Hampshire Chapter Community Development Manager Pamela Ritchie of Sunapee.
