FRYEBURG, Maine — The 173rd Fryeburg Fair wrapped up Sunday after eight days of mostly clear skies, with the exception of rain on Saturday which canceled the grand livestock parade and hampered attendance.
According to the fair’s head of marketing and publicity, Rachel Andrews Damon, paid attendance this year for the Oct. 1-8 fair was 163,796, down 19,106 from last year’s paid attendance of 182,902.
