Fryeburg Town Meeting postponed to March 31

Due to the St. Patrick's Day snowstorm, Fryeburg's town meeting has been postponed to Saturday, March 31, at 9 a.m. in the Fryeburg Fire House on Main Street.Town meeting originally was scheduled for Saturday, March 17, but was delayed because of bad weather.This year, due to fiscal year changes in progress, the Town of Fryeburg will hold two town meetings and decipher two separate budgets. The first of these meetings will be held March 31. Seventy-eight articles appear on the warrant.The first budget cycle for 2007 will run from Jan.1-June 30 of this year to accommodate fiscal year changes; then another town meeting will be held, most likely in June, to discuss budget items for July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008.
