JACKSON — Mike Torres, second in command at the Jackson Post Office, will officially retire on Friday afternoon, and residents are invited to stop by and wish him well.

Genn Ansaldi, co-owner of the J-Town Deli and Country Store, said in an email that “Mike has been with us for just over two years now and has loved our community, serving us with smiles and kind words to help make our stops at the P.O. happy ones.”
