Firefighters helped to contain a heating oil spill at Madison Elementary Monday afternoon.Paul Abracinskas with Madison Volunteer Fire Department said roughly 20 gallons overflowed onto the ground behind the school when an underground tank was overfilled. Union Oil Co. of Portland planned to send a clean-up crew to the scene.School was closed for vacation week, so no students were affected.Madison ambulance also responded as a precaution.
