"At first it was like the photographs were just as abstract as our paintings," Pobatschnig said. "That's just sort of what we became known as, two women artists pairing contemporary art with the outdoors. And it's just been taking off from there."

The duo first met about four years ago at WREN — Women's Rural Entrepreneurial Network — in Bethlehem.
