BARTLETT — When it comes to space flight, anything can happen. Just ask members of the B.E.A.R.S. (Balloon Engineer And Research Squad), who last week overcame a few challenges while successfully participating in their second Global Space Balloon Challenge.

"We've had an adventurous day!" said B.E.A.R.S. adviser Roger Marcoux after the Bartlett Recreation Department-sponsored club's successful but at times challenging launch in the early morning hours of April 21 of a camera-equipped, high-altitude, helium-filled weather balloon.
