After introducing moviegoing audiences to a 1930s film noir take on Marvel’s most famous web-slinger in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage is bringing the hard-boiled superhero gumshoe to the small screen in the new series Spider-Noir

The screen legend brings his signature “mega-acting” to Prime Video in a new Marvel series, based on the original comic created by writers David Hine, Fabrice Sapolsky, and artist Carmine Di Giandomenico. Introduced to a wider audience in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Cage’s Spider-Noir became a fan-favorite thanks to his pulpy, hard-boiled edge given to him by the actor, standing in stark contrast to more traditional versions of the hero.
