William N. Thibodeau, 66, of Glen, died Dec. 4 at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in North Conway after a long illness. Born in Lynn, Mass., the son of Henry and Rosa (Bellefeuille) Thibodeau, he had lived in Danvers, Mass. and Ipswich, Mass. before moving to Glen in 1993.He graduated from St. Jean High School in Lynn and attended Northeastern University. He served nearly five years with the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1961.He had been a systems analyst for nearly 30 years in the aircraft engine group with General Electric in Lynn.Besides his family, his favorite things in life were his dog Amy, history and football.The family includes his wife of 15 years, Sandra (Burgess) Thibodeau of Glen; five children including stepchildren, Erick W. Thibodeau of Woonsocket, R.I., Melissa A. LaFata of Stratham, Kevin B. Thibodeau of Gloucester, Mass, James L. Mourey Jr. of Hopkinton, Mass. and Anne E. Burton of Marlboro, Mass.; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa Jean of Plattsburg, N.Y. and Louise Plourde of Peabody, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. in Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visiting hours. Donations may be sent to Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 5001, North Conway, N.H. 03850, or the charity of ones choice.
