PINKHAM NOTCH — Last Saturday marked yet another chapter in the book of historic races on Mount Washington, as race director Jake Risch and his team of volunteers pulled off a reformatted Tuckerman Inferno in challenging, “Eastern powder,” meaning boilerplate conditions.

Hats off to Jake and his team, as they were able to use many alternate routes to deal with what Ol’ Agiocochook and Mother Nature threw at them.
