CHANCE SIGHTING: Steve Burak of Center Conway shared this great shot taken with Caite Zeliff at Alyeska Resort. He said: “A few weeks ago you ran an article on Caite Zeliff now living in Alaska..Last December, seven of us made a plan to go to Alyeska. On Feb. 21 (wouldn’t you know) when we were waiting in line for the lifts to open on our very first day, I spotted Caite behind us in line. I introduced myself, then asked her for a picture which she happily obliged! From left: Burak, Zeliff, Paul Ritchie from Beverly, Mass., and Geoff Heigh of Jackson. (COURTESY PHOTO)

JACKSON — READY FOR TOTALITY? At Tuesday’s well-attended MWV Chamber Before Hours breakfast gathering at the elegant Wentworth Inn, an overview of state promotions for the upcoming April 8 solar eclipse was given by Kris Neilsen, director of communications for the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development.
Better still, she gave everyone special “Eclipser” specs that the state is giving out to lodging properties while encouraging them to create packages to take advantage of the upcoming wondrous, celestial event.
