CONWAY — What started during COVID as a way for neighbors to safely gather while socially distancing, enjoying each other's company, and sampling a wide range of chili has now become an annual event each fall for residents of Hillside and Muster avenues. Residents here hosted their sixth annual Chili Cookoff last Saturday, Oct. 25.

“We had originally planned to have it in September this year to fit into people's schedules better, but had to postpone it until this past weekend because we ended up with a lot of conflicts coming up for people for the September weekend,” said Jen McCracken, one of the event organizers since its infancy in 2019.
