The week of parades, fireworks, barbecues and traffic is behind us. Those that enjoy the the summertime hot weather and humidity were out in full force to celebrate the activities around the area. For Hannah and I, we attempted a visit to the local beach, where we were met with a crowd that rivaled the busiest of firework and parade events.
The heat also lead me to rise up off the keister and commit to the seasonal task that is just as miserable to install as to uninstall. The dreaded AC. Before you roll your eyes and minimize my daunting task, my vertical crank-out windows present more of an inconvenience than that of a “open it and shove it in” AC installer. Nonetheless, the 25 minutes of complaining is preferable to the next two months of non-stop whining that I’d do if I didn’t install it.
