To say that Madison had one hell of an Old Home Week is an understatement. There was many an activity to be a part of, and nothing needed to be moved around or canceled, despite a minor attempt by Mother Nature to wash away the corn-hole tournament.

The skies were perfectly clear for “Starry Starry Night” and luck was bestowed upon Jon “The Card Hustler” Cyr, as he took home the top prize for the cribbage tournament. Selectman Josh Shackford took the runner-up in a close match with Cyr, and will now have to endure a year of boasting and constant reminders of who-beat-who. It was nowhere close for me, as I was knocked out of the contest in a quickly, decidedly and very early.
