Freedom Gallery will be sponsoring a portrait painting happening, Friday, March 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. As part of the gallery's ongoing second and fourth Friday events, Gallery Artist Peg Scully will be demonstrating portrait painting with a live model on hand. She’ll discussing what she is looking at, what she sees and what she is doing as she paints.

A signature member of the New England Watercolor society, Scully has given demonstrations for NEWS, so we are lucky to have her in Freedom as a permanent resident artist. Bring a sketchbook of your own and try your hand if you are inclined, or watch as Peg makes magic before our eyes.
