Just a reminder that the next Freedom Conservation Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. at the town hall. Matt Howe, the new Green Mountain Conservation Group director, will attend with his staff, present a 20-minute water-quality update, and also discuss potential best management practice projects. The meeting is open to the public. There are currently two vacancies on the Freedom Conservation Commission, one full member and one alternate.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for March 11 when Melissa Florio will be in the Freedom Village Store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to answer any questions and discuss her candidacy. Stop in and find out more about her goals for helping Freedom and why she is running for selectperson.
