Thomas E. Neubert, 75, a resident of Montrose, Colo. for 24 years, died Wednesday, June 4 at his home in Montrose.He was born June 30, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of August Neubert and Irene (Kelly) Neubert. He served in the United States Marines. On May 7, 1955, he married Marie Frechette (of New Hampshire), in Cleveland, Ohio. They relocated to Montrose in 1979, where he was owner and operator of Neubert Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Montrose Elks Lodge No. 1053. He is survived by his wife; sons, Thomas and his wife Julia of New York City and Michael and his wife Jamie of Montrose; daughters, Sheryl and her husband Larry Phillips of Montrose, Carol and her husband Adam Peloquin of Olathe, Colo. and Patricia and her husband Jeff Quintana of Montrose; grandchildren, Kristi, David, Kelli, Logan, Ryan, Dylan, Sierra, Shianne, Jason and Jeremy; brother Robert of Euclid, Ohio; and sister, Helen Wiersch, of Mentor, Ohio.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. A vigil for the deceased and a Memorial Mass were held last week in Montrose.
