There will be a graveside service for Theodore E. Thomas Jr. of Stoneham, Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Forestdale Cemetery on Main Street in Malden, Mass. Ted, the brother of Dorothea Provenzano of Chocorua, was born June 13, 1927. Dot said she will miss her brother's 6 a.m. phone calls on her birthday and other special occasions. Ted died June 24, 2008. He was past president of the Melrose Lions Club, past president of Stoneham Boys and Girls Club, Inc., and a World War II Marine Corps veteran. Donations in his memory may be made to Stoneham Boys and Girls Club, Inc., 5 Dale Court, Stoneham, Mass. 02180.
