The second annual Tamworth Community Nurse Association Holiday Gala will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m., at the Brass Heart Inn in Chocorua, starting with complimentary champagne and shrimp cocktail.Start the season off by joining us at a festive event perfect for raising holiday spirits. The gala dinner will include salad, followed by a choice of one of three delicious entrees: chicken piccata served golden brown with a lemony butter sauce and wild rice, grilled flatiron steak with a cracked black pepper and salt rub seared in butter and served with roasted red potatoes, or broiled Atlantic salmon with a honey mustard glaze and wild rice. The chef is keeping his tantalizing dessert finale a secret until served! All this is served along with a musical accompaniment of holiday favorites.Tickets are $75, all-inclusive, with proceeds benefiting the Tamworth Community Nurse Association. Last year's gala was a fabulous evening enjoyed by all. Please contact TCNA at 323-8511 to reserve your ticket and start the holidays off with an elegant affair that supports a great cause.
