First of monthly daytime shows slated to start Feb. 17

The Stone Mountain Arts Center, already renowned for presenting star-filled evening performances in the foothills of the White Mountains, is now offering daytime performances: The Rooster Revue.The Rooster Revue is a variety show showcasing some of New England's greatest entertainment treasures. A full-course luncheon will be served as part of the ticket, notes Brownfield diva Carol Noonan.The Rooster Revue is all about variety, notes Brownfield, thenationally-acclaimed folksinger who launched Stone Mountain Arts Center with her husband. Jeff Flagg, in August 2006. Since that time, the rural center has become a must-stop for nationally acclaimed entertainers such as Richie Havens, Judy Collins, Livingston Taylor and the Smothers Brothers, to name a few.The revue will be held one Tuesday a month, but for larger groups, we can arrange additional days, times, and or customize the event, notes Noonan. The afternoon series is likely to feature performances by such Stone Mountain LIVE! performers as Noonan, funny man Mike Miclon, opera singer Lisa Saffer, opera man, Broadway devotee and local innkeeper Tim Ostendorf; soulful singer Katy Noonan.; flute player Julia Hendrickson, pianist Sonny Barbato, and several other Stone Mountain LIVE! regulars.The price is $36 for most dates (holiday prices vary) and includes lunch, show, gratuity, and tax. The dates for the Tuesday shows on sale now are: Feb. 17, March 17 (St. Paddy's), April 14, May 10 ( Mother's day ticket price $46); June 16, July 14, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20, Nov. 17, and Dec. 1,2,3, 7, 8, 9 (Christmas shows).If a show is canceled because of weather for most dates it will be rescheduled the following day or as soon as possible.Suggested arrival time 11:30 a.m.; lunch is served promptly at noon.
