TAMWORTH — Last fall the Tamworth Conservation Commission was accepted into SPARCnet, a consortium of research and educational institutions studying the effects of climate change and land use on salamander populations.

The commission has two salamander sampling plots of 50 coverboards set up, which they will continue to monitor on a long-term basis.
