CONWAY — The North Conway Public Library will be presenting the second of its 2019 Thursday Night Program Series. Theo and Melanie Stibbons will share their experiences from hiking the Gower Peninsula of South Wales. on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Weather Discovery Center on Main Street in North Conway Village.
The Gower Peninsula is the United Kingdom’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The 70-square-mile peninsula received the designation in 1956, and much of it is now owned by the National Trust, the U.K.’s leading preservation organization.
