LOVELL, Maine — The Lovell Historical Society will be presenting Lovell, Maine’s second Barn Tour on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. Eight historic barns have been selected for viewing representing a wide variety of pre-Civil War barns.
Lovell is graced with a number of architectural gems, including English barns, Yankee barns, Gable-Front Bank barns and High-Drive barns along with dozens of continuous connected homestead structures, that have dotted the countryside since the eighteenth century.
