The Conway Public Library has a great science learning opportunity for families. The Green Mountain Conservation Group presents, the Groundwater Education through Water Evaluation and Testing (GET WET) program. Participants can bring in a sample of their home well water and test it for six parameters, including: chloride, conductivity, hardness, nitrates/nitrites, pH and iron. Learn about common contaminants, health concerns and where to go for more information. This is a fun event for all and will take place in the Ham Room on Saturday, June 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. Bring your kids to take part in learning about safe drinking water and testing.

New Hampshire has a mosaic of natural communities that make it a wonderful place to live in or to visit and enjoy its beauty. Natural communities are recurring assemblies of plant and animals found in a distinct physical environment. The dynamic factors that make it possible for plants to grow are fascinating and useful to explore.
