CHOCORUA — Green Mountain Conservation Group will be holding its 22nd annual meeting with David Carroll, renowned artist, writer, turtle biologist and recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship "Genius Grant" as keynote speaker on March 14 at The Preserve in Chocorua.

This year's meeting will be an afternoon event starting with a public business meeting at 12:30 p.m., followed by a celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be a lunch buffet, information booths silent auction, raffle, awards, speeches by the group's staff members, and year-ahead address from new Executive Director Matt Howe. The afternoon will culminate with Carroll's keynote presentation, "Beyond Conservation."
