I’m sure many of you have heard the reports of a town in New Jersey that is being terrorized by a gaggle of more than 60 wild turkeys. Residents of Holiday City are saying these birds are flocking in front of cars and doors, damaging property and even biting and attacking people who try to shoo them away. After hearing about this incident, I began to wonder. Have the folks in Holiday City eaten too few turkeys or perhaps, they’ve eaten too many?

Never fear, there will be plenty of turkeys — roasted that is — here at the Gibson Center on Nov. 19 through the 21 thanks to the generous support of Shawn and Linda Bergeron. Chef Mark and our marvelous kitchen staff have planned a wonderful menu of roast turkey, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, squash and pumpkin mousse. No reservations are required, we start serving at 11:30 a.m. and seats are available on a first come, first served basis. We hope you can join us. Happy Thanksgiving.
