This has been one rather long and unusual winter. I was discussing the weather with a friend yesterday when she told me how she made the mistake of parking in a puddle in her driveway last week. You guessed it: as she prepared to leave for work the next morning, she discovered the puddle had frozen around one of her tires. It took a while, but she eventually got to work.

This week, we have two important things to look forward to: warmer temperatures and our annual Saint Patrick’s Day luncheons. Our outstanding kitchen staff prepares one of the best corned beef and cabbage dinners in the valley and for a $4 donation, you certainly can’t beat the price. Thursday’s luncheon will also include our annual dessert auction. It’s a great chance to bid on some wonderful homemade desserts and support the center all at the same time. We want to thank Shawn and Linda Bergeron who sponsored these luncheons in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bergeron and Dana Haley Sr. Erin Go Bragh!
