The Gibson Center has been abuzz this week as we prepare for the Valley Promotions Valley Mr. contest. This year, Rob Owen asked to represent the Gibson Center in this event. He fondly remembers how his mother’s blue eyes would light up when she spoke about all the wonderful rides she had on the Gibson bus. She would also tell him funny stories about events that happened at the Gibson Center lunch table.

In gratitude to the Gibson Center for giving his mother the opportunity to stay active and socially involved with her community, Owen has chosen to represent us this Sunday at the Believe in Books Theater. Join us at 3 p.m. to cheer on Owen and add a last-minute donation to the Gibson cash can (all of which will be donated to the Gibson Center Meals on Wheels program). As a nod to the Gibson Center Thrift Shop, Owen selected his entire wardrobe there.
