TAMWORTH — Susan Goldhor will present “The Invisible Fungal Forest” at the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

When you walk through the woods, the fungi you see are only a tiny fraction of the fungi that are there. Goldhor will talk about the invisible fungi that actually run the forest ecosystem. These fungi are in the soil, inside the leaves, branches and wood of plants, and in dead wood.
