Oituary: Mary I. Russo

Mary I. Russo, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 14, 2026, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born on Sept. 23, 1930, in the picturesque province of Nova Scotia, Canada, Mary was a beacon of kindness and generosity throughout her 95 years.

Mary was the cherished daughter of Ross and Mary Macintosh. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ross, Robert, Gerald, Archie, William, Edwin, James, Flora and Jane, as well as her devoted husband of 63 years, Anthony C. Russo, and daughter-in-law Michele. She is survived by her children John, Nelson, and his wife Lori, and grandson Anthony.
