BERLIN — Louise Henrietta Giroux, 91, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026 at her home. Louise was born on Jan. 29, 1935 in Saint-Herménégilde, Quebec. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Marieanna (St. Jean) Mailloux.

Louise approached life with open arms and an open-door policy. She accepted people for who they were and whatever story they came with even if the chapters weren’t always so welcoming. She’d give more than the shirt off her back — her famous meat pies, kushi katsus, lunch for Dan and his boys, or more importantly a piece of her heart. And for such a big family, her heart was immeasurable.
