Karen (Macuch) Fox of Madison, N.H., died peacefully after a brief illness on Nov. 7, 2025. Born on March 25, 1938, in Nashville, Tenn., she was the oldest of two children born to Edward J. and Kathleen Rundle Macuch. Karen was predeceased in 2018 by her devoted husband of 35 years, Terrence Fox, and in 1978 by her loving husband of 15 years, Richard Wood. She is the mother of Laura Thornton Rogers of Randolph, Mass., Todd Thornton (Sharon) of Pembroke, Mass., Kimberly Wood of Madison, N.H., Deborah Wood of North Attleboro, Mass., and Christopher Fox of West Yarmouth, Mass. She was also predeceased by her son Jay Thornton.
She is also survived by her brother Edward J. Macuch Jr. and his wife Anna and her nephew Edward J. Macuch III and niece Holly Macuch Zeiger.
