John "Jack" Fogarty

On Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, John Edward “Jack” Fogarty III, 89, of Ossipee, N.H., passed away following a period of declining health. A resident of Mountain View Community, he was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.

Jack was born in Dover, N.H., in 1936 to John E. Fogarty Jr. and Ruth (Beane). He graduated from Exeter High School and went on to earn a teaching certificate at Keene State College. While at Exeter High, he met the love of his life, Carolyn Barnea. They married in 1955 and built a loving family together, raising seven children.
