FRYEBURG, Maine — On Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, our world shattered. Brielle Elizabeth Averill, age 7, crossed her rainbow due to a tragic accident.

Brielle was a shining star, the brightest light. She never met a stranger. She had a way of making every person — whether adult or kid — she came into contact with her friend. And they all instantly fell in love with her infectious smile and bright eyes. She had a quick wit about her. She turned every situation into a great one. Her sense of humor was beyond her years.
