Mason Gunther

Mason Edwin Gunther, 48, son of George H. Gunther and the late Peggy M. (Phipps) Gunther, passed on Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Lowell Health Care Center, Lowell, Mass.Although Mason lived much of his life in the greater Lowell area, he was well traveled and also resided in New Hampshire, New Jersey, the Marshall Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest.Masons passion for music kept him active in the music industry for much of his life as a musician, producer, promoter, and salesman. Mason was a dreamer of infinite possibilities. He loved life and lived large, sharing generously from his heart. He will be dearly missed by countless friends and family members including his father and stepmother George and Nancy Gunther, his brother George Gunther Jr., sister Kathryn Gunther, brother and sister-in-law Les and Sandy Gunther, his children, Damian Williams, Melissa Mammino and Shauna Mammino, grandson Cole Richards, many close cousins, nieces and nephews, close friends, Marianne Mammino and Christine Williams.Memorial contributions in Mason Gunthers name can be made to Huntingons Disease Society of America, New England Regional Office, 1253 Worcester Road, Suite 202, Framingham, MA 01701.Contributions are tax deductible and can be specified for education or research.
