Although the temps don't seem like it, we have moved into September. Summer is slowly turning into fall, and foliage is beginning to turn into reds and oranges. The wildlife center has seen a sharp decline in late-summer baby birds being admitted, and now we are seeing second litters of baby squirrels, migrating broad-winged hawks and dispersing barred owls coming in for care.
